Don't hate me....... but when I go to see cards in the gallery I would love to see the stamp names posted with the uploaded picture! At least the biggest stamps used on the project! And any special technique you used! I could sure increase my wish list if the names were posted!
I know it takes time, but could you add the stamp co. name at least? Pretty Please? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? :D

I'll second that. I love to read about the process that went in to everything that's in the gallery, even if you don't make a similar card its inspiring sometimes.

Me too - love to know the stamp credits as it helps me learn about all the great companies out there!

Well done and 'Great Question. Well! What can I say!!! I am definately up for 'All the Nitty Gritty' you can give on your projects in the gallery. There is nothing worse than, 'This is for my...?' I do try and hope I succed in including all the information I think others might need......bearing in mind that they may very well just be starting out into the wonderful world of Crafting! Or those that are more professional, but would like another dimention.

Listing the stamp credits is a great idea, there is such a wide variety of stamps used on this sight, I'd like to know who makes them ;)

I usually list at least the basics of what I used when I upload something I've made, but not for the projects I upload for others. Alas, like everything else, noting what's used then typing it all in takes time that many aren't willing to spend. Also, I think many aren't comfortable with the writing process in general (they don't want to sound dumb) & figure most of us won't even look at their projects, let alone like them enough to want to know more. If you want to know what somebody used, pm them & ask! The odds are they'll be flattered by your interest and happy to tell you everything you want to know & then some.
Uploading your projects & listing the project info for show & tell is very much like public speaking...challenging at first, but it gets easier the more you do it. :D

Another problem I encounter is that all my stamps and stuff are at one end of the house and the computer is way on the other side of the house. Keep telling myself to keep a piece of paper close for making notes on to take to the computer when I upload but always get involved in what I'm doing and forget to write anything down :o .
Instead I have to go back and forth several times to look things up. Needless to say I'm still trying to develop the habit of writing as I do instead, or at least right when I finish and its still fresh on mind.

I keep a medium sized pad of sticky notes & a pen on my worktable to keep track of what I'm using while I'm using it. Then I just stick the note to the back of the project until I've scanned it in. If I have to mail the project to somebody, I stick the note on the cabinet door above my computer so I have the info handy when I go to upload or write directions later. Yeah, I am kind of anal that way. But it works!

Likewise Inky Whiskers, if I don't keep my stick it's close by and write it as I do it, I have no chance of remembering! The older I get the harder it is!
