I picked up a copy of Scrap and Stamp magazine today, not something I usually look at because I'm not much into scrapping. This issue seemed to be almost all stamping though and it had a great article that I know I'm going to have to try. :lovie:

It's the one where you stamp the same image several times and then cut it up into pieces, color them and then layer with foam tape in between each layer. Their examples were with wild life images and it was very cool. It's not a new technique but not one I had tried in a long time. So if your looking for something new/old to try....

Darn it DH is off tomorrow so probably won't get to play until next week  .

What I do is stamp the same image on coordinating card stock, cut one image up into pieces and then layer it on to the other image.
Check out my picturetrail to see what I am talking about...

That sounds easy and looks good (I saw your cards glomom, they are very nice) and I will also try as soon as possible. Thanks for this idea.

I must confess that I notice that the mag I was referring to was new to me, but not a new issue after all. It was a March issue, I'd be mad except the articles are still great. Just frustrated, that's what I get for buying from a large chain store instead of my favorite stamp store. I could have gotten it from her at a discount, all past issues are 25 - 50% off. 30 miles away is just too far away, I need her to move closer:laugh: lol.

Luv, luv, luv my LRSS, Imprints really rocks.

I think the only problems with this is deciding where to make the cuts sometimes, and of course patience ;) . I know me well enough to know I'll be anxious to see the end product to know how I did lol
