Hello, Well I am new to this... I was thinking that the card could be 4 x 5 1/2
and then once a month we could all exchange.

Hi Tabby & Welcome to RSC!

I certainly understand the desire to swap ideas, especially when you're new or needing a fresh perspective. :p Have you checked out any of the existing swaps? If nothing else, doing so will give you an idea of what we've been doing for swaps, so that when you set up your swap you'll know what kind of things people will want to know. Common swap questions are: What is the theme? What is the format of the project? (full card, card front, tag, ATC etc) What size project? What is the format for the swap? (send one to you/you send one back, everybody gets one swap partner, everybody sends you a set number of projects w/sase & gets sent back a set number of projects made by the others etc) When is the mailing due date? How many projects need to be made based on the swap format?

Please don't think I'm wanting to overwhelm or discourage you! I just thought you might find it useful to have a better idea of what folks want to know before they sign up to do a swap. You can set yours up any way you want & people will let you know if they're interested.

what would be the deadline? i am involved in a couple other swaps/challenges that I don't want to go overboard. I do like the idea of a non-themed general card swap though.
