Women's History Month

I'm in and I vote for the above, we don't celebrate ourselves and our gender enough sometimes.

Love the idea of "women" being the theme.

I swore this month I would just do my swap (Everything Green) but here I am getting sucked into another swap! It's an addiction...and one that I love!

Ok, I am in....don't know that I have much to offer in the way of women's history, but I'll keep thinking about it.

will be..... Surprise!!! WOMEN'S HERSTORY. We have some wonderful events and herstory in our past, so we should proudly show what are so darn proud of.
now, since we have a small group again, do we want a 1:2:1 or a 1:2:6? You are the empowered group, here so let me know your vote on this ASAP. What ever we decide as to how many cards to make, the mail by date will be March 22ed. Have fun creating. ~C8>

Doing one for everybody last month wasn't too bad. I think I could handle doing that again. :D

Oh gosh! This is a toughy for me, with most of my stamping stuff in storage. I will have a difficult time doing just 1. Sorry, but I must vote for the 1*2*1.

I am happy to make it an either 1:2:1 swap or a one for everyone swap. But, i think Marstamper would prefer a 1:2:1. So, i think we should go with that so that it dosen't take the fun out of it for her.
Officially, 1:2:1 unless there is some way to work it for everyone to get what they prefer.. :D

03-11-2008, 04:44 AM
Thanks jeannine. I would prefer 1 2 1. But, will try for whatever the majority wants. Women's theme is a toughy for me. But, I will try.

One card would probably be easier for this theme for me too but will go with the majority.

All things considered this month, I think 1-4-1 would work better for me too. So far I haven't sewn a stitch, but I have gotten inky. I guess we know where my priorities lie. :))

Nancy, i apologize but although my card is finished, it's loocked in one of the shops i work for and i won't be able to retrieve it until Tuesday....closed Easter Monday. :o I'll mail it directly after i get it back.

It has been an interesting theme. I enjoyed the time i spent googling women's history looking for inspiration. Thanks alsmouse! :)

I have the concept & design, what I don't have is the stamp I need to create my vision! I'm sorry, Maralee!!! I order the image I needed last week from a company that usually ships in 1-2 days & since the company isn't that far away (they don't have a retail outlet, so picking it up wasn't an option) I get my orders 1-2 days after they mail the box. I got a conformation email & have heard nothing since! If it isn't here tomorrow, I'll come up with another idea & get it out asap. I just wanted to let you know I hadn't forgotten. :o

I did upload a scan of the card I made to my gallery. I [U]really[U] loved this swap.

I got Jeannine's card it just blew me away. I showed everyone in the office and they all were just enamored with it. You did an incredible card J! I would frame it but the inside is as good as the outside - what a quandry! I hope you have uploaded, it not, let me know and I will send you a scan. WOW! Thank you, thank you! What a treasure!
