Hi, everyone--I'm looking for this particular stamp:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cookala/2243093076/
of the bird. I asked the artist, and she couldn't remember where she got it and couldn't identify it because it was on an unmounted sheet. She suggested Hero Arts, or Divas D'Este, and I searched there with no luck. I've also searched on ebay, with no luck.
Anyone have any idea? It would mean a lot to me to find it, or one very similar. Thank you so much!
Sandra

Thanks, Stacy--that "Birdie" collection sure has something similar! If I can't find the original bird, that one will work. Thanks very much, and thank you for the warm welcome!
I could use it today--it's snowing mightily here! :p;)

I didn't find the exact one but Meer Image has several swallows in varying poses:

There is one here:

Asta Arts mounted ones here:

I'll check those out!
Hey, I have a cousin called Vincenza, after my great-grandmother. I wonder if your name is the anglicized version of that?

Those are crows in different poses, not swallows. I do have a barn swallow, but he is swallowing a barn, probably not what you're looking for.

Here is another option:

Under the birds category and then "Birds of a Feather". LOL, Saw the image this morning in our own gallery and went looking. Check out "Time To Stamp"'s member gallery to see artwork using the image.

Could be -- I was named after the daughter of an Italian family that my folks moved next to in the 1960s-- apparently the daughter died when she was 18 and when my mom went over to introduce herself, they thought she resembled the daughter and I guess for a few minutes, they were startled and thought it was their daughter at the door. I was the next child born and a girl, so I got her name as a tribute to their daughter. They were an older couple. I couldn't tell you what they looked like and somewhere I do have a portrait of the daughter. I do recall being very young and toddling to the fence where the wife used to give me baggies of candy thru the fence.
